Site Council and Upward Bound canceled for tonight - February 8, 2010
Site Council rescheduled for February 22, 2010.

Leah Roth is going to State in Nordic Skiing
At the section meet Leah Roth rode a strong classic race to the state meet. She took 6th in the classic race and held on for 9th in the pursuit. She will compete at the state meet at Giant's Ridge on Thursday, Feb. 11. The girls skate race begins at 11:00 a.m. and the classic pursuit follows in the afternoon.  Click on the above link to see a picture of Leah and Coach Chris Lundstrom.

Coronation before the dance at 6:45 p.m., Friday, February 12th.

Tickets on sale starting February 4th during all lunches for $7.00.  Tickets at the door will cost $10.00.

Cougar Catch-Up Study Sessions Rules:

Students must show up to designated room by 2:10 pm   - Cougar Catch-Up Study Sessions are from 2:00 to 3:00 pm

Students must work while participating in their Cougar Catch-Up Study Session.

Students are welcome to use the Cougar Catch-Up Study Session rooms to work independently on any school work.

Students that work for at least 30 minutes can receive a token for MTC transportation home.  Please note that the token does not cover the complete rush hour fare, students need to provide 50 cents of their own to have the complete fare.

 

Students can make arrangements to get help from their teachers on alternate days and times but bus tokens are only provided for students participating at the above locations and times.

Parents Needed!

Parent Volunteer Committee Members Needed

CPSHS recently received a 'Ramp It Up!' Grant to help improve student wellness at CPSHS. The Student Wellness Committee is looking for 3 parents to be a part of this grant implementation committee. The Committee is scheduled to meet three time on the following dates:

1st Meeting: Tuesday, Jan 26, 2:15 to 4:15 in the Library

2nd Meeting: Tuesday, Feb 23, 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. (Tentative)

3rd Meeting: will be held in late May or June to assess our results and plan for the next school year.

Tours will be given by the National Honor Society students on the following days:

 

Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

December 10

 

Wednesdays at 7:40 a.m.

January 20,

February 3, 10, 17 and 24

 

Fridays at 8:55 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

January 22,

February 5, 12, 19 and 26

 

Students taking the tour must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Tours begin in the Guidance Department Career Resource Center.
