 | | | | | | Beginning Photography | | This is an introductory class on the basics of black and white photography as an art form. Students will learn how to many things. They will learn the history of early photography and make a simple camera out of a shoe box called a 'pinhole' camera to take a simple photograph. Students will then move on to making interesting photographs using a 35MM film camera by applying composition skills using the elements and principles of art. Students will develop their black and film, make black and white prints, present their original work and also use the computer to scan and edit photographs using the Photo Shop computer program.
