Skills for Success (Focus 10) Expectations
Focus 10 is a year long course for Sophomores who want to improve their academic success.

OBJECTIVES:
•Students will learn and apply study skills including note taking, organization and time management.
•Students will participate in daily tutorials for all academic courses, especially Math and English.
•Students will pass all their classes and develop a strong foundation for future academic success.

GRADING:
25% Keeping an organized binder for all academic courses which includes an assignment log.
25% Successful completion of Focus 10 daily work (study skills).
50% Participation in daily tutorials.

EXPECTATIONS:
•Come prepared with a neatly organized Binder and all of its contents.
•Come with a completed assignment log.
•Concentrate on, and neatly complete all Focus 10 daily work during allotted class time.
•Demonstrate perseverance, and a willingness to work and participate in daily tutorials.
•Demonstrate good attendance. Agree to check with each teacher for missed work in therare case of an absence.
•Demonstrate respect for self and every person in the room. Expect the same in return.
