On Friday the Cougars wrapped up their regular schedule season hosting a tough St. Croix Lutheran squad whose win/loss record was one to be highly respected. The Cougars allowed two goals in the first half, one on a breakaway and the other on a mix-up in front of their goal. shots on net. Unfortunately the Cougars were unable to find the back of the net in their attack, leaving the score 2-0 in a great demonstration of defensive skill and discipline.
In the first round of the sectional play-offs #9 seeded Como Park takes on #8 seeded Johnson in what promises to be a great match-up! Winner advances to play #1 seed Mahtomedi on Saturday!
