Urban Growler FUNraiser Raises $3000 - Teachers and Students can apply for 2nd round of Booster Club Grants now!

    Thanks to everyone attending the FUNraiser at the Urban Growler, $3,000 was raised for the Booster Club — these funds will go to boost support for Como’s extracurricular programs, clubs, activities and sports that broaden the involvement of our students and extended school communities. New this year was live music by Como’s own Jazz Band and by Paul Seeba! A special thanks goes to the Urban Growler for being so welcoming and to Hiway Federal Credit Union for their raffle donations!

    Booster Club Grants
    The Booster Club congratulates the first round of 2016-2017 grant awardees: Como Park Instrumental Music Program, Technovation Apps Club, ELL Dept., Como Park Boys Soccer, Soccer Stars Program, Dare 2 Be Real Advisors, Student Council, AVID. *A 2nd Round of Booster Club Grants will be made in May — see the Grants page for more details. Use the 2nd Round Grant Application to apply before May 15, 2017.

    Senior All Night Graduation Party
    The 35th Annual 'Senior All Night Graduation Party’ is coming up soon - graduation is Tuesday, June 6, 2017! This event (sponsored by the Booster Club) provides our graduating seniors with a safe, fun environment to celebrate with friends. Parents from all classes are asked to help make this event a success. You can help before, during, and after the party with Food, Decorating, Registration, Chaperoning, Prizes, Activities, Bag Check, Clean up and Donations.

    Seniors — Celebrate at Como after graduation with dancing, arcade games, henna artists, basketball, swimming, food, prizes and more! To register for your All Night Grad Party ticket, Registration forms will be available starting the week of April 24th in the main office and AD’s office and through a link on the Booster Club website. Tickets are available for $50 in advance or $60 (cash) at the door. Scholarships will be available to help seniors have the opportunity to attend. See the Registration form for more party details.
