Julia Brunner

Hello! My name is Julia Brunner and this will be my 3rd year teaching at Como. This year I am teaching General, Accelerated Biology, AP Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. I am so excited to be part of this amazing school and teach Biology to the students here. I was born and raised in St. Paul and graduated from Central High School. I love living in St. Paul and am so proud to be able to serve this community. I have 2 sons who also attend SPPS. I taught for 5 years in South Saint Paul prior to coming to Como. I love science, especially Biology. I love being able to help students understand how the world works in the life science context and help highlight science careers. 

Being outdoors is where I am the happiest and bringing the learning experience outside is important to me. I truly believe that our kids need time to explore nature and the world around them as much as possible.

I like to hike, snowboard, cook and garden.
