Leah Deiman

¡Hola y bienvenidos!

I'm Leah Deiman and I've been teaching since 2008. I was born and raised in Minnesota and I've spent a lot of time abroad in Spain, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. 

I'm licensed to teach Spanish K-12 and have a Master's Degree in Literacy Education.

When I'm not teaching I have a lot of hobbies - most of them are outdoors, science-based, and have to do with self-reliance and sustainable living and community.

It is important to me that my students learn the skills of literacy - reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Spanish, and that they are proud of what they can do both in and outside the classroom.
