Welcome to AP Government.  This class should help you realize how government operates in our society, and how the political game is played out through our policymaking institutions. AP Government class provides the structure to accompany your political thought.

To help you learn and appreciate the way government and economics work in our society today, we cover the following units of study:

I.     Foundations of American Democracy
II.    Political Ideologies and Beliefs: What People Think and Why
III.   Political Participation
IV.   Congress, Presidency, Bureaucracy, Courts and Interactions among them
V.    Civil Liberties and Civil Rights   

The Goal:  To learn and appreciate the way government and economics work in our society and to pass an AP Test on the subject.
