Indian Education Services at Como Park High School
The SPPS Indian Education Program's mission is to assist American Indian students in graduating from high school with a quality education and a positive cultural personal identity.
Indian Education staff visit Como Park High School to provide unique cultural services to Native American students and to collaborate with staff on programming.
- Because Como Park has a Braided Journeys Program embedded at the site every day, Indian Education services are provided on a limited basis at this site. Please contact the Como Park High School main office to reach the Como Park Braided Journeys program lead with questions, service inquires, and support resources available at Como Park.
One Monday Each Month - Main Office
Kerrie Troseth, the Indian Education School Counselor, facilitates the Catching a Dream programming for Native youth at SPPS. She will be available to students and offer the following services:
- Post-Secondary Planning (11th & 12th grade only) or Short-term Student Counseling or Community Resource Referral Sessions- click here to schedule an appointment
